The Concord Adex End of Crisis Housing Fund
Survivors of human trafficking face a number of challenges as they work to rebuild their lives. Finding affordable housing is often one of those primary challenges and survivors often find themselves in shelters or housing that is insufficient for long periods of time. Shelter living is a barrier to healing and moving forward with their lives.
“Safe housing means having the ability to reclaim my voice and my power, to live free from violence and oppression. To have the space to focus on myself and my needs after being forced to serve others. Safe housing means being able to dream again and have hope for the future away from the control and judgement of others.”
The Concord Adex Survivors Fund seeks to empower survivors, help them transition out of shelters when they are ready and into a place for once they can call their own.
Through corporate sponsorship and fundraising efforts, survivors of human trafficking will be able to access funds for first and last months rent or for those items that are going to make their first home theirs.
